Most runs in ARC Raiders start with a simple question: what can I grab and still make it out alive. That's why I didn't ignore The League when it showed up. It's got that odd little slice of history vibe, and it pays better than you'd expect if you plan it right. Before you drop in, it helps to think in terms of ARC Raiders Items you can lock down quickly, because this job mixes a guaranteed pickup with a loot hunt, and the second part can chew up your time.



Step 1: The Water Towers run
Head to the Dam Battlegrounds first. You're going there anyway, and it's the cleanest part of the quest. The Deflated Football isn't some mythical spawn—there's a quest container sitting near the base of a Water Tower, and it should be there every time. The catch is the terrain. It's open, it's flat, and you'll feel exposed the second you leave cover. Move like you mean it: scan, sprint, loot, rotate out. While you're in the area, knock out the first photo objective by finding the old goal post nearby and snapping a clear shot of it.



Step 2: Finding the Bicycle Pump without wasting a raid
The Bicycle Pump is the part that tests your patience. It's random loot, so you can't just beeline to one spot and call it done. What's worked for me is treating it like a tool run: check garages, maintenance corners, storage shelves, and anything that looks like it'd hold hardware. Toolboxes are the obvious hit, but don't skip the boring rooms. A lot of players only sweep the flashy storefronts and then wonder why the pump never shows up. If your bag's getting heavy, ditch low-value junk and keep rolling—staying too long for "one more container" is how raids end.



Step 3: Buried City photos and a safe exit
Buried City is where people get sloppy. They slow down to explore, they get drawn into fights, and suddenly the quest turns into a rescue mission for their own backpack. For Apollo's second photo, you're looking for the small kiosks tucked along the streets. Inside, there should be old football magazines—get the camera up, frame them clearly, and let the objective tick. After that, don't hang around to celebrate. Pick an exit route with cover, avoid loud routes, and if you hear machines working close by, take the longer way out.



Turning it in and what's actually worth it
Bring the football and pump back to Apollo and you'll get the Aviator Outfit (Faded Flush) plus Tagging Grenades and Firecrackers. The outfit's nice, sure, but the grenades are the real prize because they help you control messy fights and keep eyes on targets when everything's chaos. If you're trying to build up resources early, finishing The League cleanly also sets you up to chase more value runs, including saving up buy ARC Raiders Items for the upgrades you'll wish you'd bought sooner.
